Modesty Blaise Dog

This has to be the oddest piece of MB merchandise I've seen yet: a Modesty Blaise dog. I'm not sure which is stranger, the item or the £700 price tag!

Unless this dog can do some really cool tricks, like break you out of a Thai gaol and bring down a crime ring while he's at it... I hope there's a misplaced decimal place in the price.

Thanks, Wayne, for sharing this gem!

More Modesty Merchandise

And the Modesty Blaise merchandise just keeps appearing! More earrings, more bags, and now shoes:

The bag and shoes are available from Walk In Town, and the earrings from C2E-street (both Swedish).

I'm happy to see there's finally a piece of merchandise with a Holdaway drawing! All the merchandise I've seen to date is based on Romero's drawings (nothing wrong with that, just nice to have more of Holdaway's work acknowledged).

More Modesty Merchandise

More cool Modesty swag from Scandinavia... this time, a laptop case.

As well, a pair of Modesty earrings found on Ebay:

I find it a bit strange that all the Modesty merchandise I've ever seen is based on Romero artwork, and none on Holdaway's... clearly there is a sub-niche market waiting to be filled!

Modesty Blaise T-shirts

A new Modesty Blaise T-shirt is available for sale on this Spanish site:
It's not clear from the description who the Modesty image is: the description mentions both Holdaway and the Joseph Losey film, but this doesn't appear to be either. If you know, please share the info!

Modesty Blaise Spa

You've read the books, the comics, watched the films, listened to the music... now you can spend a day being rejuvenated at the Modesty Blaise spa. (If you're in Perth, Australia, that is.) Modesty Blaise Face and Body seems like an appropriate name for a place offering beauty treatments, given that in the first novel, one of Tarrant's impressions of Modesty was that "her skin held a soft, matt tan that would have made a fortune for any man who could get it into a bottle."

Modesty Blaise Merchandise Finds

Surfing around, I came across quite a few MB finds on Ebay and iOffer this week...

The Modesty Blaise resin model kit from Japan (sculpted by Joe Simon) has turned up again. I also found this wonderful pillbox from suchcoolstuff.com, with the artwork from the Clyde Allison 'Agent 0008 Meets Modesta Blaze' novel. There was also a lovely painting* by artist Todd Maell.
